Emergency services have responded to reports of an overturned lorry on a busy route this morning.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident on the A456 near Tenbury Wells in the early hours of this morning.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said:
“A456 is currently closed in both directions at Newnham Bridge, just up the hill from the Talbot Inn.
“Emergency services have attended an overturned heavy goods vehicle carrying aggregate which is fully blocking the road.
“Police, fire and ambulance all attended with the fire service sending a fire engine and an Environment Protection Unit from Tenbury Wells Fire Station.”
