Police are appealing for information following a male in Ruardean (Forest of Dean) acting suspiciously around vehicles.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Constabulary said:
“This male was wearing a grey hoodie and an orange hi-vis jacket.
“He was taking photographs on his mobile phone of vehicles and was seen walking up and down Ruardean High street.
“The male might have been going about his day but residents were concerned due to the high volume of car thefts and burglaries around the Forest of Dean.
