Following the huge success of Church Street Deli and due to demand from customers, a concept was formed to offer what can’t be currently offered at Church Street Deli.

So a whole new business has been designed and formatted to offer what has been asked for. The owners got the keys in September and have spent the last three months renovating the building. They will be stocking Nizi Bakery pastries 6 days a week with Nizi Bakery literally opposite Carousel so David is able to walk the pastries over fresh every morning.

Brioche breads and sourdough breads are from Peter Cooks Baker, with milk delivered from Trewen Dairy. The Coffee is from local roastery Kontext coffee. Tea is from local supplier Trumpers Tea and meat is from Phillips & Preece Butchers. A fantastic local touch!

Where possible all other ingredients have been sourced locally.

The cocktail menu has been designed to incorporate all premium ingredients with wines and spirits from The Secret Bottle Shop and House Gin and Rum from local distillery Black Mountains Botanicals.

Carousel is a name played on fairground that offers a family friendly atmosphere in the day time and in the evenings it’s all change for the adults.

With this in mind, in the day time Carousel is both child friendly and dog friendly, with lots of nods to fairground styling in the decoration including a carousel horse named Raymond.

Come the evenings, the blinds are pulled down and the lights are dimmed and they change the counter up and become an adult only venue with cocktails and small plates

Carousel is also avaiable for private hire in the evenings.

So Hereford, there is your introduction. Pop in and give Carousel a visit over the next few months.
