It was an action packed Saturday of football for our local sides, with Hereford FC grabbing a last-gasp winner to help keep their play offs hopes alive in a 3-2 victory over Brackley Town at Edgar Street.

Hereford completed a sensational second-half turnaround to snatch all three points against in-form Brackley Town at Edgar Street.

Elsewhere, Westfields were beaten 3-2 by Tuffley Rovers, in a game where Sam Hunt saw red and former Fields striker Oli Barnes was on the scoresheet for the hosts. Ben Brooks with both of the goals for Westfields.

Hereford Pegasus drew 1-1 at Slimbridge, thanks to a goal from Rory Thompson. 

A 4-1 defeat for Wellington at Kidlington Res leaves them just three points above the relegation zone in the Hellenic League Division One. Curtis Driscoll scored the only goal for Wellington. 

There was also positive news outside of the county, with former Westfields and Hereford Pegasus striker Cawley Cox scoring his first goal, and the winning goal, in a 1-0 victory for Merthyr Town away at Marlow. The result leaves the Martyrs ten points clear at the top of the Southern League Premier Division South.
