Police in Hereford have issued an alert to residents in the Belmont Road and South Wye area of the city, following a suspicious incident that occurred on Monday evening.
A spokesperson for Hereford Police (West Mercia Police) said:
“We would like to make you aware of suspicious circumstances in the area of BELMONT ROAD.
“At approximately 5.50pm on 27/01/2025, it was reported that two females were on a private driveway, seemingly taking pictures of the occupants cars.
“The other female seemed to be talking on the phone.
“Although we do not know what they were doing, and it could be a misunderstanding, it is odd behaviour.
“One female was described as having blond hair, with a mustard coloured coat, and the other female was wearing a hoodie. The females quickly left when the occupants dogs started barking inside.
“Although nothing was taken or damaged, please ensure to keep an eye out and report any suspicious activity to the Police.”
