From Gloucestershire Constabulary:

We’re appealing for information to help locate a woman with memory problems who has been reported missing from Gloucester.

Officers are concerned for the welfare of 87-year-old Jean who was last seen leaving an address in Abbeydale at around 9.50am this morning (Tuesday 28 January).

Searches have been taking place and there was a possible sightings of her at around 10.15am in Eagle Way, heading in the direction of Coney Hill.

Jean is described as having short, white thinning hair and she has a large mole on the side of her face.

She uses two white walking sticks and a burgundy walking frame to help her walk and she has a hunched posture.

When she was last seen she was wearing a dark blue jacket, pale trousers and black gloves. We’ve released an image of Jean which was captured this morning and shows her clothing.

As Jean has memory problems, she may not realise that someone is trying to help her if approached.

Anyone who has seen Jean or knows of her whereabouts is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident 164 of 28 January. Dial 999 if she is present at the time of calling.
