Following the success of Joy Club, The Courtyard is delighted to announce the launch of Joy Club Juniors this February, Hereford’s Inclusive Rave for children aged 8 – 17.
Taking place in The Courtyard’s Studio Theatre, attendees will have the opportunity to groove to the beats of DJ Andy, surrounded by glitter and glow sticks for an unforgettable experience.
This fun-filled event is specially designed for young people with additional needs and disabilities to enjoy with their families.
“Raving is for everyone!” Says Joy Club Juniors practitioner Toni Cook, “Come and join us and DJ Andy to dance, glitter yourself up and shake your glow sticks!! Wear what makes you happy!”
The Courtyard is committed to accessibility and inclusivity and has a speaking lift to all floors, accessible toilets on all floors and level access to all public areas of the building.
The Courtyard also has a Changing Places Toilet. A CPT is bigger and better in size, space, equipment and flexibility than other accessible toilets. The specialised facilities allow everyone to participate in day-to-day activities at The Courtyard, including Joy Club Juniors, without having to go offsite to access appropriate toilet facilities.
Joy Club Juniors is open to young people aged 8 – 17, but those younger than 12 must be accompanied by an adult for the whole session. Tickets are £6 per participant with one free Carer/PA/Companion ticket offered per person.
Joy Club Juniors is kindly supported by The Beefy Boys.
