With only six weeks to go until Christmas Day, Asda has revealed the exact date its customers can pre-order their Christmas turkey.
From today, customers will be able to choose from a range of eight fresh Christmas turkeys (ranging from joints to crowns to whole birds) here to add to their order for home delivery or collection in store.
Customers have until 11:59pm on Friday 15th December 2024 to pre-order their fresh Christmas turkey, which will be delivered (or available via click and collect) between 21st – 23rd December 2024. Over one million home delivery and click and collect slots will be available in the week leading up to Christmas.

Asda Large British Turkey (typically 7kg) £3/kg
Asda Extra Large British Turkey (typically 8.5kg) £3/kg
Exceptional by Asda Medium Free Range & Corn-Fed Norfolk Bronze Turkey (typically 4.75kg) £9/kg – a traditional slow growing heritage breed reared on small farms in East Anglia. They are fed a corn-based diet which gives the meat a richer flavour and added succulence.
Asda Medium Basted British Turkey Crown(typically 2.5kg) £8/kg – prepared with a baste for extra succulence and flavour
Exceptional by Asda Free Range Corn-Fed Norfolk Bronze Turkey Crown with Pork, Roasted Chestnuts, Cranberry and Apricot Stuffing and Turkey Stock £25/kg – a traditional slow growing heritage breed reared on small farms in East Anglia. They are fed a corn-based diet which gives the meat a richer flavour and added succulence. This turkey crown comes with a delicious stuffing and flavoursome stock.
Earlier this month, Asda announced its Christmas delivery slots were now open on asda.com or via the Asda app. Enabling savvy shoppers the chance to organise their festive delivery admin over two months in advance of ‘the big day’.
The supermarket’s 540-strong Christmas product range caters to shoppers’ every need when it comes to stocking up for the celebrations this December. From starters, mains and desserts to party food, grazing and drinks.
Other festive products customers can add to their order include Asda’s first-to-market Extra Special Frozen Crème Brûlée. At just £5 and serving six, this freezer-to-table showstopper dessert just needs to thaw then it’s ready to enjoy and works out at 83p per serving.
For festive snacking, Asda also launched its range of Christmas crisps announcing its new flavour for 2024 – Extra Special Roasted Camembert and Garlic Flavour (£1), which has already started creating a stir on social. This post on @newfoodsuk has already had 1.6K comments including, “Omg I would sacrifice all my organs for a bag of these” “Gamechanger!” and “these sound kinda amazing.”
The minimum online spend at Asda is £40 for delivery and £25 for click and collect.
