Courtney Clarke from Hereford has made the decision to take the plunge and open up her own Barbers shop in the city centre.

Miss Barber is situated in Bewell Street near the side entrance to Widemarsh Street.

Courtney who has a young daughter told Your Herefordshire:

“I have lived here all my life and have been barbering for over 5 years now.

“I have always dreamed of having my own shop and when the premises became available I jumped at the opportunity to take it on.

“I had previously been renting a chair elsewhere, but I decided to go it alone and open my own shop.

“I can provide walk ins so people aren’t time bound by booking appointments. All my family and friends have been really supportive and I wanted to take the plunge and give it a go.”

Courtney added:

“At a lot of the other barbers in town you need to make an appointment, so I wanted to give people the flexibility to just come and get a haircut.

“I’m open Tuesday-Saturday and I also provide free coffee to all my customers, plus I’m offering 10% off your first haircut at my new premises. I can’t wait to see my customers new and old.”
