Friends of Castle Green have today issued a statement in response to questions from members of the public who have noticed that work to restore The Pavilion on Castle Green appear to have stopped.
Statement on behalf of Friends of Castle Green re: The Pavilion restoration project
Friends of Castle Green CIC (FoCG) has been experiencing some issues with the contracted building company and has decided to work with a new supplier.
In consultation with the Stronger Hereford Board, we will shortly be appointing a new contractor to complete the restoration of the building.
We hope to have the Pavilion reopen and fully restored by Spring 2025.
This represents a slight delay to our original timescales, but the final result will be worth the wait!
