Emergency services were called to a large fire involving a 50 seater coach in the early hours of this morning.
The incident occurred on the A470 near Brecon.
A spokesperson for Brecon Fire Station said:
“At 1am this morning, crews were sleeping soundly but 10 minutes later we were putting our training to good use on the A470!
“With support from our colleagues from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service. 1 x 50 seater coach, well alight.
“2 x fire pumps attended, along with 1 x bowser, 3 x Breathing Apparatus teams, 2 x Hose Reel Jets, 1 x thermal camera.
“Thankfully all passengers were accounted for.
“Recovery of the coach and the resurfacing could take a while, so keep an eye on the Dyfed-Powys Police socials for updates.”
