Hampton Grange and Gwen Walford Care Homes in Hereford proudly announce their new partnership with the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) as official donation station holders.

This collaboration allows the local community to support a vital cause by donating a wide range of items to help fund the life-saving services MAAC provides.

Residents and the local community can now drop off donations at the Gwen Walford reception, including clothing, CDs, DVDs, books, toys, accessories, and more.

These donations will directly contribute to MAAC’s operations, which include three air ambulances covering six Midlands counties: Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire, and the West Midlands.

The charity’s mission is to provide exceptional pre-hospital care and emergency medical services, saving lives every day.

The nursing homes, operated by Rotherwood Healthcare, are well-known in Herefordshire for providing award-winning residential, nursing, and specialist dementia care.

With this new initiative, Hampton Grange and Gwen Walford Care Homes are further extending their community involvement, making it easier for individuals to contribute to local causes.

“We are proud to support the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and act as a bridge for our local community to give back,” said Home Manager Rebecca Protheroe.

“This partnership is a testament to our commitment to supporting vital local charities and helping to make a difference in the lives of people across the Midlands.”
