Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the A4112 in Herefordshire yesterday where a motorcyclist died.

At around 11am yesterday (Sunday 26 August) a grey VW Passat and a red Honda CBR 650 motorbike collided on the A4112 near Kinnsersley in Herefordshire.

The rider of the motorbike, a 20-year-old man, sadly died at the scene.

Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed or have dash-cam footage of the collision itself, or of either of the vehicles in the minutes before the collision.

One man has died following a road traffic collision in Hereford on Bank Holiday Monday.

West Midlands Ambulance Service received calls from police and fire colleagues reporting a road traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a car on the A4112 in Kinnersley, Hereford at 11.05am yesterday (26th August 2024).

Two ambulances and a paramedic officer responded to the scene.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival ambulance staff found a motorcyclist, a man, who was in a critical condition being cared for by an off-duty doctor. 

“Sadly, nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed deceased on scene. 

“No one else was injured in the collision.”
