A dental surgery in Hereford is accepting new NHS patients.
Imperial Dental, located on Belmont Road in Hereford (Near Asda), has signage outside that signposts patients to call a number to register.
Imperial Dental (Pool Farm Cottages, Belmont Road, Hereford, HR2 7JZ) can be contacted by calling (01432) 279066.
Opening hours are from 9.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
Imperial Dental on Belmont Road was previously run by Bupa and all Bupa patients are advised to contact Imperial Dental to arrange their care.
Your Herefordshire understands that Imperial Dental has no links to the new Central Hereford Dental Care surgery that has opened on Commercial Street.
NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire expect to open an additional dental surgery in the South Wye area of Hereford in the coming months.
Central Hereford Dental Care (which has no links to Imperial Dental Care) – issued the following advice to patients wishing to access its services:
‘NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire have appointed Central Hereford Dental Care as the new provider of NHS dental services in Hereford and they will operate two new practices in the city.
‘The first of two practices, Central Hereford Dental Care operates from the premises on Commercial Street in Hereford, with a second practice located to the South of the River due to open late Summer 2024.
‘Appointments will be offered based on clinical need and priority. It is not a “first come first served” system.
This means that people who “express interest” will be treated equally with people who “express interest” early.
‘The provision of NHS Dental Services has been commissioned to provide long term access and we kindly request that people are patient when registering their details and looking to secure an appointment.’
