West Mercia Police have issued an appeal for information following a fatal collision involving a pedestrian and a lorry.
A statement issued on Tuesday by West Mercia Police said:
We’re appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian, a 28-year-old man, died following a collision with a lorry on the A46 near Evesham this morning (Tuesday).
The collision happened shortly after 6am this morning by the layby on the A46, close to the Beckford Road turning in Dumbleton.
The pedestrian was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the lorry was uninjured, and no arrests have been made.
We’d like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen or have dash-cam footage of the collision, or of the pedestrian or lorry in the minutes before the collision.
