West Mercia Police officers helped to escort an ambulance to Hereford County Hospital this afternoon.
This is after ambulance crews were called to assist NHS colleagues at a private address in the city.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:
“We were called at around 12.10pm to assist NHS colleagues who were treating a female patient at a private address off Penhaligon Way in Hereford.
“An ambulance, three paramedic officers and the Trust’s Hazardous Area Response Team were sent to the scene.
“The woman was assisted from the property and taken to Hereford County Hospital for further assessment.”
