A number of roads remain closed in Herefordshire this Friday morning, although the overall flooding situation is slowly improving across the county.
Levels on many rivers, especially the River Wye in Herefordshire, are falling rapidly. The Lugg is dropping slower, but the A4103 Hereford to Worcester Road is now passable with care, and Aylestone Roundabout is clear.
However, the Hereford to Sutton St Nicholas road remains under significant flood water and remains closed.
Holme Lacy Road in Hereford is now open, as is Holme Lacy Causeway.
We expect the A438 at Letton to reopen later today.
Riverside paths in Hereford are also clear this morning, apart from between Greyfriars Bridge and the Old Bridge.Â
