Emergency services are responding to serious collision on a major route in Herefordshire this afternoon.
The collision has occurred on the Tillington Road, near Tillington Common.
West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service are all in attendance.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:
“Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hereford Fire Station were called at 12:46 on 8 September to an RTC in Tillington.
“A car was on its roof in the carriageway after being in collision with a telephone pole.
“A female casualty in her 20s was medically trapped and released by fire service personnel using Holmatro cutting equipment before being handed over to the air ambulance.
“Police also attended, as did ambulance. Crews are still at the scene as at 14:03.”
The road is closed in both directions.
Motorists are advised to use an alternative route.
