Greggs has moved closer to opening an outlet in the Rotherwas area of Hereford, with an Application for a Certificate of Lawfulness submitted to Herefordshire Council.
The application submitted to Herefordshire Council states:
“Application for a Certificate of Lawfulness for a Proposed use to confirm the Lawfulness of the proposed occupation by Greggs PLC.”
“The supporting Statement sets out the evidence to confirm the lawfulness of the proposed occupation by Greggs PLC (Use Class E) of Phantom House, 214 The Straight Mile, Rotherwas Industrial Estate, Hereford, HR2 6JT.
“It is considered that the submitted evidence sets out the comprehensive justification in respect of the proposed CLOUD and confirms that on the “balance of probability” that the proposed occupation of Phantom House, 214 The Straight Mile, Rotherwas Industrial Estate, Hereford HR2 6JT by Greggs PLC would be lawful.”
The news that Greggs was considering opening an outlet in Rotherwas area of Hereford broke earlier this year., with Your Herefordshire being informed that Greggs was considering opening an outlet at Phantom House in Rotherwas, Hereford.
A source went on to tell Your Herefordshire that the development was subject to contracts being signed, a lease being agreed and planning permission being sought.
Greggs has been opening a number of new outlets nationwide, including a number of Drive Thru units.
