A woman from Hereford has been jailed for 21 months after being found guilty at an earlier trial of sexual offences committed in 2021.
Patricia Lewis, 22, was convicted in March by Worcester Crown Court for child sexual offences with a boy who was 14 years old at the time.
Lewis was jailed for one count of causing a child to engage in penetrative sexual activity. The court imposed no separate penalty for two counts of sexual activity with a child
The court also made a 10 year Sexual Harm Prevention Order against Lewis as well as a restraining order and a victim surcharge.
Following the verdict, Detective Constable Christine Watkins said: “This was a complex and challenging case and I cannot praise the victim enough, or his family, for showing such courage and determination in bringing these offences to our attention, speaking openly and honestly about their abuse.”
