After a weather effected weekend in the Zzoomm Herefordshire Football Legaue only 50 percentage of matches managed to beat the poor conditions.
At the top of the Premier Division SC Inkberrow’s match again Ludlow Town Colts was called off giving Ledbury Town and Pegasus Reserves a chance to create a gap between the sides.
Pegasus Reserves hosted 14th placed Worcester United on Friday night and could only secure a draw, finishing the match with 10 players after a red card was handed out. Substitute Simon Gwynne scored for the hosts.
On Saturday Ledbury hosted Tenbury United in the reversal of a tight match played out only 14 days previously. The match was played out in a similar fashion to the previous, another closely fought game which ended in the very same way as Ledbury recorded another 2-1 win and taking the three points.
Elsewhere Kington Town moved up to third continuing their impressive form with a 3-0 win over lowly Coppertops.
The North Herefordshire club have now won 5 in a row as they make a late charge up the table, although it may be too late as they have played more matches than the teams around them.
All Division One fixtures were called off due to pitch conditions while Division Two saw Leominster Town edge out their near neighbours Tenbury United Colts with Connor Bufton and Noah John finding the net in a 2-1 win.
