West Mercia Police officers are searching for a man who they believe may be able to help them with their enquiries in to a house fire in Malvern.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“We’d like to speak to him as we believe he may be able to help with our enquiries in to a house fire on Worcester Road in #Malvern in the early hours of yesterday morning.
“The fire, which is being treated as arson, started shortly after midnight on Tuesday 7 March and is being treated as arson.
“A scene guard was in place yesterday, which included the closure of one of the platforms at Malvern Link train station, which meant that some trains were unable to stop at the station.
“Anyone who recognises this man, or may have any information about the fire, is asked to contact DC Gareth Hicks on 07977957762 or gareth.hicks@westmercia.police.uk quoting crime reference number 22/22232/23.
“Alternatively, if you have information but don’t feel comfortable speaking to police, you can speak to the independent charity Crimestoppers.
“It is 100% anonymous, they never ask your name and they cannot trace your call or I.P address.
“You can contact them online or by calling 0800 555 111.”
