West Midlands Ambulance Service have provided an update following an incident near Ross-on-Wye earlier this afternoon.
The incident occurred on the A40, near the junction with the A49 at Wilton.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:
“We were called to reports of concern for a patient’s welfare at the junction of the A40 and A49 at Bridstow at 3.02pm.
“We assessed one male patient who was taken to hospital for further care.”
The road has since reopened.
