West Mercia Police officers in Hereford are appealing for help from the public to identify two males following a suspicious incident in a village.
The incident occurred in Withington and West Mercia Police have shared the following message:
“We would like to make you aware of a suspicious incident that occurred on 01/02/2023/ at approximately 08:30 am at Withington Chip Shop.
“Two males were seen looking over a fence into the storage area of the Chip Shop.
“One male was seen to give the second male a boost up to look over a wall before they were challenged.
“They claimed they were looking for rubbish. It is believed they may have been looking for cooking oil.
“As far as we are aware no other properties were visited by these males.”
