Motorists are advised to use an alternative route this morning following a serious incident on the A49 between Ludlow and Shrewsbury.
West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Shropshire Fire and Rescue are all in attendance at the incident near Leebotwood in South Shropshire.
The road is currently closed in both directions and is likely to remain closed for some time.
