Pressure is growing on Hereford FC manager Josh Gowling after a poor run of results continued with a 2-1 defeat at Kings Lynn.

The Bulls took an early lead thanks to a goal from Tyrone Barnett, but two goals in response from the hosts saw them take the three points. The Bulls sit in 16th place following the defeat.

Elsewhere, Hereford Lads Club battled hard to beat Roman Glass St George at The County Ground.

Goals from James Hancocks and Adam Hockey saw Lads Club lead 2-1 at half time, before the visitors equalised early into the second half.

Danny Moon’s side however seem to have the hang of responding well and grabbed the winner late on when a brilliant ball from man of the match Mason Godsall was met by Levi Ellis at the far post who smashed home the winner. The result puts Lads Club up to 7th place in the Hellenic Premier Division.

Westfields returned to winning ways with an impressive 3-0 victory away at Chipping Sodbury.

Joel Edwards returned to action with a goal. Dan Stoneman and Steve Davies grabbed the other two goals for Fields.

The result sees Phil Glover’s side in fifth place, a point behind local rivals Hereford Pegasus.
