Motorists are advised to use an alternative route this morning, with the A438 remaining closed between Trumpet and Ledbury due to a serious collision.
Reports have stated that a vehicle collided with a building in the early hours of this morning.
In an update, the AA said:
“Road closed and heavy traffic due to crash on A438 Bush Pitch both ways from A417 to A417 Leadon Way. Between Ledbury and Hereford. Originally reported further along the stretch.”
West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews have all attended the incident and we expect an update from West Mercia Police shortly.
