Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hereford were mobilised to reports of a large fire in the open near the A49 in Wellington this evening.
A spokesperson for Hereford Fire Station said:
“461 mobilised to reports of a large fire in the open just off the A49 at Wellington. On arrival we located one large fire, thankfully under supervision.
“As we were leaving we noticed another large fire in the distance towards Marden.
“Crews proceeded to check and thankfully located another bonfire on a farm also being supervised.
“If you are controlled burning please inform Fire Control on 0333 399 0043.”
