Hereford FC host League One outfit Portsmouth at Edgar Street this evening, in a 7.55pm kick off in the FA Cup 1st Round.
The Bulls will be paying respects to former Hereford United legend Ronnie Radford who sadly passed away earlier this week. Every football supporter knows Ronnie Radford and that famous goal against Newcastle United in 1972.
After hearing the news of Radford’s passing, a group of supporters set up a fundraiser to get a huge banner printed ahead of tomorrow’s match. The fundraiser incredibly raised over £2,000 in just a few hours, with a 50 metre long banner now expected to be unveiled before this evenings match.
Tickets for the fixture are sold out, with an attendance of close to 5,000 expected to pack into Edgar Street.
