Emergency services are currently responding to an incident on a major route that links England and Wales this evening.
The incident involves a car that is on fire on the A40 between Symonds Yat and Monmouth.
Police and Fire Crews are at the scene.
The A40 remains open at present, but motorists are warned to expect some minor delays.
