West Mercia Police have issued a witness appeal following the death of a 20-year-old man in Herefordshire on Monday evening.
“Did you see a single vehicle collision on the B4348 on Monday evening (12 September)?
“The incident involving a blue Mitsubishi Shogun Estate took place on the B4348, near Kingstone, at around 11.20pm. Sadly it led to the death of a 20-year-old man from Allensmore.
“Anyone with who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle before it happened, or has any dashcam footage, is asked to report online quoting incident 834 of 12 September.”
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said:
“We were called to reports of a single vehicle collision involving a van at the junction of the B4348 and Stone Street at 11.15pm.
“We sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer, a BASICS doctor from the Mercian Accident Rescue Service scheme and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care to the scene. On arrival we discovered one male patient, from the van, who was found in a critical condition.
“Ambulance staff administered advanced life support but sadly, despite their best efforts, it became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
