Gloucestershire Constabulary have provided an update following reports that a man was bundled into the boot of a car earlier this week.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Constabulary said:
We issued an urgent appeal for information this week, after a caller told us that they thought they’d seen a man being put into the boot of a car.
Urgent enquiries had been taking place throughout the day following the incident on the A48 in Blakeney on Wednesday morning, and we asked for more information from the public.
Thankfully, it was soon established that the ‘man’ was in fact a water rescue manikin by Extreme Simulations that was being bundled into the car. Here is a picture of him in training that day.
