West Midlands Ambulance Service have provided an update following a death at a Hereford supermarket yesterday (Monday) evening.
Your Herefordshire understands that Waitrose in Hereford was closed for a time yesterday evening.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:
“We were called at 7:23pm to an address on Auctioneer Walk. We sent two ambulances and a paramedic officer to the scene. Crews arrived to find a woman in a critical condition with bystander CPR was already in progress.
“Staff took over treatment and administered advanced life support to the patient, but sadly despite the best efforts, nothing could be done to save the woman and she was confirmed deceased on scene.”
