Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed that no casualties were reported following a fire at a property in Hereford overnight.

Fire crews were called to the Hunderton Road area of the city in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday).

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:

“Four Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews – two from Hereford and one each from Fownhope and Ewyas Harold Fire Stations – plus the Incident Command Unit from Ledbury Fire Station were called at 02:36 on 26 July to a shed fire in Hunderton Road.

“The fire, which had spread to a neighbouring property, was fought using three jets with four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus.

“There were no casualties reported and the police also attended. The incident was marked as pending closure at 06:26.”
