West Mercia Police are warning people to remain vigilant after a local woman lost more than £4,000 to a lottery scam in a Herefordshire village.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“We’ve had a report of a lottery Scam taking place in Credenhill, where the victim has lost over £4000.
“She was conned into thinking she had won a substantial amount of money.
“The lady was convinced by sending various Gift Cards she would receive the winnings. Of course this was not the case. Pictured is some of the Gift cards sent.”
