West Mercia Police are appealing for information following a serious incident near Hereford city centre last weekend.
The incident occurred early on Saturday morning and West Mercia Police have issued the following appeal.
Police are appealing for witnesses following a robbery and attempted rape in Hereford early on Saturday morning.
The incident took place in the graveyard off Commercial Road and Canal Road between 5.40am and 6.20am on Saturday 28 May.
The victim had his mobile phone and wallet stolen. It is believed that a member of the public witnessed the incident and shouted at the suspect to stop.
Officers are keen to speak to the member of public mentioned above as he may hold important information which could help with our investigation.

A 27-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident has been released on police bail.
