A busy section of the M5 is closed this afternoon due to a collision.

Emergency services are currently responding to a collision on the northbound carriageway of the M5 at junction 8 near Strensham services.

Motorists are advised to find an alternative for the next couple of hours.

We are currently on our way to an RTC on the M5, junction 8, heading northbound just after Strensham services. There will be a full closure at junction 8 to allow crews to work safely on the scene, avoid this route if possible! pic.twitter.com/mZ1LwAny8d
