If skies clear overnight, you may get the opportunity to see the Blood Moon, with a total lunar eclipse taking place during the early hours of Monday.

The eclipse will be visible, if clouds clear, in the Herefordshire skies from 2.30am – 5am, with the total eclipse occurring at approximately 4am / 4.30am.

The last total lunar eclipse occurred in January 2019.

Those attempting to see the lunar eclipse are reminded that they will need to do so from a high vantage point, with the moon appearing close to the horizon for the duration of the eclipse.
