A retailer is planning to make investment in Hereford by almost doubling the size of its store in High Town.
Mountain Warehouse, currently located at No 12 High Town, is looking to get permission to extend the store by knocking through and using the currently empty unit next door that used to be occupied by Game.
The application proposals comprise formation of openings at ground storey within the central wall which currently subdivides 12 and 13 High Town forming the two separate retail premises, in order to create a single retail unit for the existing tenant Mountain Warehouse. The precise location and extent of the openings are detailed within the application drawings and supporting structural details.
The investment would certainly be welcome in Hereford city centre, with the former Game unit remaining empty since a clothing store closed at the end of last year.
