A woman has been taken to hospital following a collision in Hereford earlier this morning.

The collision occurred on Kempton Avenue, at the junction with Sandown Drive. West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service all attended the incident.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service told Your Herefordshire:

“We were called at 9.29am this morning by the police to reports of an two car RTC at the junction of Sandown Drive and Kempton Avenue, Hereford.

“An ambulance and paramedic officer attended and assessed three patients on scene. A woman sustained suspected serious injuries and was given treatment on scene before being conveyed to Hereford County Hospital for further care. No one else required hospital treatment.”

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:

“Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hereford Fire Station were called at 09:14 on 31 March to an RTC involving two cars at the junction of Sandown Drive and Kempton Avenue in Bobblestock, Hereford. One female casualty is medically trapped and an extrication plan is being formulated. Ambulance are also in attendance as are police who have closed the road. The incident remains ongoing.”
