A giant digital advertising board is likely to be installed shortly on Whitecross Road in Hereford, after approval was granted by Herefordshire Council. The advertising board will be located on land at ETB Autocentre.
Previous plans for digital advertising boards on Edgar Street that were submitted by Alight Media were rejected due to concerns over them distracting drivers.
One of the conditions that Herefordshire Council put in place when granting approval was that the digital advertisement screen hereby permitted shall display only static images. No animated or flashing images shall be displayed; and changes between advertisements shall take place instantly with no sequencing, fading, swiping or merging of images.
The advertisements displayed shall change no more frequently than once every ten seconds.
