West Mercia Police officers have seized a quantity of cannabis from a property in the South Wye area of Hereford today.
Officers from the South Wye Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out a search of a property after smelling a strong smell of cannabis whilst carrying out other enquiries.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police (South Wye Safer Neighbourhood Team) said:
“The South Wye SNT have carried out a proactive search of a property today.
“This was after noticing the strong smell of cannabis in the area whilst carrying out other inquiries. The cannabis smell was traced to the rear garden of an address thus resulting in a positive outcome and a quantity of cannabis being seized.
“If you are prepared to take part in the use of cannabis expect an unexpected knock on the door. 22028”
