It’s been a busy day so far for fire crews across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, with a number of call outs across the two counties.

In Herefordshire, a crew from Hereford were called to a report of smoke near the A438 (Hereford to Ledbury Road) at Dormington. On arrival, crews found a bonfire well alight and used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire with advice then given to the person who started it.

In Malvern, crews from Worcester and Malvern were called to a house fire. On arrival crews discovered a fire in the bathroom of a property that had spread to the loft space.

And just to prove it’s not just fires that crews have to deal with, a fire crew from Evesham were called to release an 11 month old baby that was locked in a car.
