On Sunday 14th November, children from Broadlands Primary School were accompanied by staff to observe the Remembrance Sunday Parade and service in Hereford.

Children had been asked to design a Remembrance poster as part of a school competition and all of the children who entered were invited to attend the parade.

Deputy Headteacher Robert Kay said, “It’s really important that we teach the children about Remembrance Day and what it represents. It was a privilege to be able to take some of our children down to the parade and we hope to make this a regular event. The posters they produced we are proudly displaying them in the school.”
