Lidl will open its newly refurbished store in Hereford on Thursday, after being closed for a number of months.
The store has undergone a major refurbishment with the company knocking through to take over the unit that was previously occupied by Poundworld. This means that the Lidl store will be nearly twice the size it previously was and will offer so much more for customers.
A spokesperson for Lidl told Your Herefordshire:
“Doors will reopen on Thursday 14th October following an extensive refurbishment which includes a larger bakery section.”
Lidl GB’s Regional Head of Property, Paul Hebblethwaite, commented in May 2021 saying: “We’re extremely excited to be starting construction for the modernisation and extension of our Hereford store, so that we may bring the local community an even greater selection of our fresh, quality and affordable produce. We are grateful for all the support that we have received so far and would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding whilst we enter the next stages of the development.”
