Westfields FC defender Sam Hunt has arrived home from hospital after being injured during last nights match against Longlevens at Allpay Park.
Westfields found themselves 3-0 up in the 68th minute, thanks to goals from Josh Hunt, Matt MacDonald and an own goal. However, the game was eventually abandoned after being stopped in the 68th minute after Sam Hunt was injured after colliding with the pitch side barriers.
An ambulance was called and after waiting near three hours, he was taken to Hereford County Hospital.
Sam tweeted an update this morning thanking Westfields staff for their support.
