There could be good news for British holidaymakers later today, with Malta and The Balearics expected to be added to the UK’s ‘green travel list’ later today.
This would mean that anyone travelling to Malta and The Balearics wouldn’t be required to quarantine on their return to the UK, providing a much needed boost for travel companies and holidaymakers wishing to enjoy a trip abroad.
There has also been suggestions that the government is considering allowing people that have received both COVID-19 jabs to travel to amber list countries without having to quarantine when they return to the UK, but no decision on this is expected to be announced today.
