West Mercia Police were delighted to share a photo of their new electric vehicle in Hereford yesterday. It’ll be seen in and around the city of Hereford over the coming days and weeks.
However, some members of the public are unsure over the ability of the vehicle to help stop crime. Here are some of the comments that were posted on our article yesterday evening.
Gary Gardner: “It doesn’t look like it will withstand the first pothole it hits! And there are plenty.”
Billy Russell: “It’s being sent out on all their assault and battery cases……”
Richard Mondi: “After a 5 mile pursuit it’s flat…….hang on let me find the plug.”
Matt Samuel: “You may get charged if they catch you.”
Jak Watkins: “It looks like a toy you get out of a happy meal from McDonald’s.”
