A lorry fire is causing delays on a busy Hereford road this lunchtime.
Aylestone Hill in Hereford is currently blocked while emergency services deal with the incident. A Bartonsham Farm Dairies lorry is currently on fire and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews are working hard to put the fire out.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service told Your Herefordshire:
“Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Hereford and Fownhope were called at 12:24 to a large vehicle on fire on Aylestone Hill, Hereford. Four crew in breathing apparatus and two hosereel jets fought the fire. Police and ambulance were also in attendance and the road was closed in both directions. As at 13:16, the vehicle is being damped down but the road remains closed.”
