Two people have survived a terrifying helicopter crash in Herefordshire, a family member has confirmed on social media.
Emergency services including West Mercia Police, West Midlands Ambulance Service, Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service and the Air Ambulance all attended the incident just off Bromyard Road near Ledbury yesterday afternoon.
Images quickly surfaced online showing the extent of the damage to the helicopter. However a family member quickly responded to concerns on social media by saying that the pair involved had survived but sustained relatively minor injuries. Your Herefordshire decided not to show any of the images until the welfare of those involved was confirmed.
The below photo is of the wreckage of the helicopter being transported through Hereford later in the afternoon.
